Youre crying over ONE per week? A entire dept? I personally have 6 this week alone, including 2 approved LAR's. If you doing your job, one is simple. We are threatened too but we are told collectively (me and one other PSS) WE HAVE TO GET 10 PER WEEK!!! And we have no loader, no CSA, no dept manager, and no lumber staff. Oh yea, we have no pro cashier either so me and one other PSS have to do it all. WE also have to get 10 surveys per week, and 10 LOyalty sign ups.
A HD it's one opened card per 140 transactions.
They did that to one of our Head Cashiers once. They gave her a high quota in January of all months. She was so stressed out by it that she start offering people discounts if they put in a credit app. She got busted, fired etc, and one of the customers tried to get her charged with violating banking laws or something, because he thought he was just signing up for my Lowe’s card not a credit card, the way she presented it to him.
If you live in a "right to work" state, bend over and lube up.

Lowe’s don’t care about DOT violations they schedule the drivers in DOT hours of service and lack of rest time. Lowe’s was told to do this to sabotage the delivery and hire 3rd party to deliver.
Then I would tell that manager that you will collect all of the write ups and cram them all up his self righteous a**!
Ask where in your job description it states that. They can’t make up rules on the fly that goes against the terms you agreed with in your employment. Job descriptions are just that. Then follow up and ask when the last time OSHA confirmed their Covid protection measures, and offer to set up an appointment for them if they are unsure. Do not let them bully you. If they fire you then file for unemployment. Take notes for your unemployment meeting and state “there was no decree for this in my job description and I was unfairly fired.”
Delivery has to push credit apps too or they get written up. Many of them said fire me because Lowe’s is cutting delivery across the board by spring
It's not illegal, they can do what ever they want. That said I had this happen to me years ago and it's pretty pathetic that they would do this.
