It’s my understanding that in England once a company declares bankruptcy, the management names go on a list and they are barred, by law, from ever running another company.
The names of management of the bankrupt Shalers and all of the clowns at these law firms that provided the hare-brained schemes that resulted in the bankruptcies should go on such a list. If only.

PEMEX is eyeing CHK for a buyout.CHK fits there style of OPERATIONS.  Corporate phones with new phone numbers will be supplied weekly. To facilitate the smooth transition many of you will be asked to hold special cash assets in your personal bank accounts for brief periods of time.
If you have any questions please think about your family and don't ask them.

A bankruptcy like this costs 10 million plus a month. That's just payments to third parties and excludes the cost of CHK employees working the bankruptcy.

How is anyone surprised that companies feel cheated by CHK? AKM led the fraud show until he didn’t. D Fresh came in and through a combination of arrogance and incompetence ran the ship further aground. Oil and gas is not for the faint of heart because deceit and incompetence rule the day.

Last night I spent a couple of hours reading the bankruptcy filings. The bitterness in this bankruptcy is substantial, many people feel the bankruptcy is nothing more than CHK’s latest vehicle for fraud. Over 300 objections to the bankruptcy and restructuring agreement. The allegations over who got cheated in determining creditor bankruptcy priority is sad and smacks of fraud. The number of businesses claiming they were cheated by Chesapeake is quite large. I hope I never again see a bankruptcy like this in my lifetime. How much does a bankruptcy like this cost?
