I quit 2020/12/31, already have new job, kids registered in new school (remote schooling, we move I quit). if quit now I save someone job who be laid off. what do ?

Easy, ask them to lay you off right now so they don't need to make the decision to lay someone off. You get paid, they get to keep someone. Both wins. Unless HR already counted you out then there's nothing you can do
