I understand that many hate their jobs at Belk, I really do. I'm not a big fan of mine either. But it still pays my bills. While I hope the situation will change and while I constantly criticize the management and the policies and so many other things, it never occured to me to wish for Belk to fail completely. What good would it do for me? Or any of you who so feverently want to see it crash and burn? The only thing it would achieve is oversaturate the job market in your area and leave many families without any kind of income. So no, I don't want to see Belk fail. I do want to see it improve its treatment of employees. That should be your first thought as well, not how to bring it down.

This job doesn’t pay my bills, and that’s the problem.
I can relate to this. Sometimes I just hate going to work , but the job pays my bills, and it has been hard finding something else. So yeah, I hope corporate actually listens to people working in the stores and make improvements where necessary.
