Most of us have accepted by now that our jobs at BN come with a not so distant expiration date. What I'm wondering is just how distant it really is. Will BN still be standing three, four years from now or is the impending end even nearer? I don't think we're at a point yet where a complete shutdown within a year is realistic, but anything beyond that is possible.

First of all, it's THESE vicious emails. It's plural.

It's no secret that we're on the brink of closing. Sales couldn't be any worse and I don't need to read any manager's email to see it coming fast.

I've read some disturbing emails and it shouldn't be long now.
You shouldn't worry even a little bit if the company can make it another year. Every employees' job, including the CEO could be laid off/fired tomorrow.

I don't know how we can possibly stay open another year. Our store is dead, I saw 1 person in the store the other day and I can't even call them a customer because I didn't see them buy anything.
It’ll be sooner than 3-4 yrs. can’t keep bleeding that amount of money, monthly, hoping customers will return.
