Because of the way I got laid off after more than 15 years of dedicated work, I despaired for days. It’s not that I thought I was much better than other workers so they could never lay me off, but I was really hurt by the way they informed me. When I was supposed to go to Lowe’s recently as a customer, I coldly bypassed it because I want to forget as soon as possible that I have ever had anything to do with such a company.

I poured my heart into my store for over 12 years before they eliminated my position. I can’t bring myself to go back in for anything. I’ll shop elsewhere. Almost 2 years and counting.
Many more to come! CEO is getting a bigger bonus this year so much for being a dedicated employee! The American Dream is long gone in this country and it’s going to get worse!
I totally understand. You are just a number. When my job as Exterior Sales Coordinator ended. The Operations Manager told me she hopes I never get another job at this Lowes. Her reasoning was because I would never do my new job and would only help the PSE. Heartless person. What ever happened to being part of a team. PSE was brand new to his job when my job was eliminated.
