Do More With Less and Shut up

After the shutdown, my store eliminated several executives. I now do what 3 CXMs did not even a year ago, without additional compensation. Today, I received the plans and ownership for these departments. All three are planned UP, and combined will be eliminating 9 FT positions. During our leadership meeting, it was expressed to me to not complain as executive cuts had not been finalized as of yet, and if you push back you are gone. Yeah- so JG how does this math add up? Are you planning on giving yourself and your execs another 9 million dollar bonus after all the cuts go through? I am beyond disgusted.

My store was also told we can’t complain and our regional leaders don’t want to hear any excuses. My store team in the last visit all went home and cried it was the worst feeling now everyone is just fake in front of them including my store manager and it’s just ridiculous I can’t bare to hear them in the walks. M you’ve got to know that there is no way stores are perfect day in and day out and it takes weeks to get ready for a visit your all seeing a fake store when you arrive for the meeting. You should just do surprise visits so everyone doesn’t have to fake it.

My store stopped having weekly meetings since there's no leads and the communication is horrible. Nobody knows what's going on and there's a manager that gets by without really doing anything and it's starting to get frustrating. My manager ends up doing her job and gets side track and at the last minute the support team running around trying to sign the store because my manager forgets to let us know about sales changing. I get that the cuts makes more work for everybody but to have a manager that don't want to work is a kick to the face and those hours could be used for people that actually can help with the short hands.

My store is adding Full time and part time jobs. I'm a CSX, my combined areas get 2F and 3P more . Just found this out yesterday. And no we aren't a growth location.

I'm not a fan for of JG nor of the direction of M. But this is post is going to get torn up, the 9 million has several incentive's that must be met, one is including stock price. Its not guaranteed by any means.

Hi!! I'm in the same boat and do the job of 3 managers! I've been counting my blessings that I still have a job but I'm scared every time an announcement is made. .I'm not sure how we get quality colleagues when we aren't giving FT hours, not paying them commission in most areas now and offering a low hourly wage. It is depressing and disheartening

what was the 9 ft position being cut? macys is a cabal to make the CEO and board of criminals rich off the backs of anyone who signs up for this horrible place.. i think the former ceo was much better at the job and the place ran better
