Friend at RRB told me NS is discussing an early-out incentive for all agreement employees aged 55 and older with 30 years employment.

Actually there are people with 30 over 55 out there still.........
Enola has been shutdown.
Got some swamp land for sale in Florida
NS closing chat and Eno. Townhall confirmed
The company has plenty of money to pay their bills. They are just to stupid to do it. I don't know how many times SCX had their water turned off by the city over the last 25 years
LMAO! The company doesn't even have enough money to pay their bills nor their suppliers and you actually think there's going to be buyouts or early-out incentives??
Turn is praying that ever one keeps working and paying in most laid off are vested and can draw from it at retirement age but with all the railroads laying off there's more people drawing from it than paying in so the money will only be there so long before it runs out!!!!!!
Roflmao
I hope it's true
Makes sense, they’re the higher paid and more accident prone. If they called back to replace them it would be in many cases students n Cubs at a lower rate. One things for sure if this is true the ones that don’t qualify would raise so much hell out of jealously NS would prolly throw their hands up.
That's not even close to being truthful!
The only way that NS will buyout anyone is if there is less than about 10 employees left and the place is closing. Maybe not even that many.
Not happening. There is no one left with that is 55 with 30 years. They have left on disability.
Heck there’s not many left that is over 50 and that have 25 years of service. If there is they are planning to jump at any time.
It. Will. Never. Happen. This rumor been going around now for over 10 years, let’s work on something new....
Fake News. There's no way he got ahold of a human at RRB, let alone the NS offering a buyout when they can just cut for free.
That's a pipe dream. They will just keep laying off until they get the numbers down to where they want them.
