Former here .. i just login into to get my w2 forms which in the past has be free.. now if i want to download my w2 forms i have to pay Macys 20 dollars for past 2 years of w2 forms.
not only does this seem illegal but its just down right dirty and shows they are trying to get money out of everything... unreal...
Yeah this ain't new and it ain't macys. You should always save these documents and print them too if you like. And I don't remember past years being free–only the current year. Download your pdf next time! Don't blame macys. There's plenty to blame, but not this time.
Not the devil's advocate but it's a third party company that does the tax form servicing.
Never throw away important tax information. :)
