It's time all new contracts for all crafts contain "No Forced Overtime" They've created this mess by laying off thousands of employees and now they are forcing overtime because work is not being done fast enough for them. All overtime should be 100% voluntary, with every employee having the right to say NO. It is not our fault they no longer have enough employees to get the job done, so why are we being forced to make up for their bad decisions. It's past due for every craft to have a "NO FORCED OVERTIME" clause in the contract.

All the COVID protections that NS corporate brags about doing for employees is a joke. No hand sanitizer half the time, and managers won't even wear masks. More and more work you're supposed to get done even though they're constantly cutting jobs. Toxic work environment. Total lack of respect from management.
C-ap I forgot we have contracts and this is a union job! Anyone know where the unions are now? While everyone is being forced to do other crafts work? Oh yeah I forgot, “ They can do that “. What a joke!
Made over 100,000 last year. Inion dues just the price of doing business
The union sold you out years ago
You only have two options:
1) bent over and take it
2) quit
Remember the union catch all,the company has the right
Quit your whining if you don't like it do something about it quit
Why worry about it, within 9 months they will be bankrupt , taken over , sold.
Might as well forget that. They could care less and if you write that in theyll just hire outside sources. When are you going to realize that the Union is nothing more than a greedy rubber stamp. They take our dues and do absolutely nothing for us. If they truly cared about "us" they would write NS a warning letter. By this date, change it or a systemwide strike will occurr shutting the entire sh– show down.
Forced overtime is here to stay. It’s part of PSR. Can’t have one without the other.
We were sold out by our union a long time ago. Get used to it or find another job.
You Probably will not like this but; they can just hire Temps (Hey, It has been done!!!! but; long time ago) or contract work out. What I am saying is the Deck is stacked against us.
