BH is slack. Do you go to the competition and beat this company like a drum or do you go into a different industry?

Going elsewhere and whipping on Baker won't give you any satisfaction, it will feel like beating on a handicap person, not much of a challenge
Baker is busted. Guys if you have even the slightest inkling of something better out there for ya, plan for it and chase that dream. If your spouse works and you can afford to do it, DO IT.
If you dislike the job, definitely plan it NOW.
If you LIKE your job, but hate the downturns, hang in there but have a plan B. If your spouse doesn’t work...you’re stuck. More pressure to start getting your crrp together sooner rather than later.
Let’s face it, the downturns and ensuing toxic environments and cronie-ism is what makes us hate the job. Things will NEVER be the same again.
Side note...it should be HR that plays musical chairs every couple of years. They love swapping managers around, how about they start moving around for once?
Glad to hear that you're finding the good in what's going on.
Speaks volumes about your character.
Have a plan B and ride the storm unless you just hate your job.
I didn’t admit to myself I hated it. Now that I’m out, I’m happy that I’m gone.
Best wishes!
Yes and Yes to both questions.............but for your personal sanity do something other than sticking around to see if you are going to be a contestant in the "Survivor" show @ BKR.
