How did you find out you were on the list?! Your manager told you?
This was a 3 month project, the lists were already made and passed around, finalized by mid Dec. I know this as fact. I was on the list.

@gxv+18O7btk1 is absolutely correct. Lists are pre-drawn typically 4 months prior. They are finalized six weeks before notification. However, while there are often changes, the hard numbers and names are completed in that 4 month prior period.
IBM needs to have numbers. Needs to track notifications. Needs to tell payroll etc.
dear Friend @gxv+18O7btk1 they are so prosaic and slow and inhumane that they might still be busy writing or revising the list... but also so arrogant that in the midst of the layoffs, such an infamous process is followed.
Checkpoint is hardly related to layoffs this year. Lists are already made.
do you mean that thing that remember a military check (where one can be k–led by a pseudo friendly fire shot?) instead of a time when people can really, but really, talk about improvements to their careers nd clients that they follow with dedication and "love" I would add, not recognized? .. yes..it's coming
