if you need to get through to the rrb, around the middle of the month seems to work better. call in the morning and be prepared to be on hold for a long time. good luck.
I'm getting just shy of $3,000 with right at 22 years in
The best way to contact rrb is on your local office website secure message , and they will call you
You have a better chance of winning the lottery than contacting an actual human being at any RRB location.
3 meals a bed and an exercise period.
I applied in feb last year and had all the paperwork in by the 1st week in april and thats when the 9 to 12 month clock starts, expect to have a type of work physical about 8 months after that where they do all kinds of measurements on you whole body , I guess to see how disabled you are , it will not be a fast process. you have to have 20 years of service or 10 years and be age 60 or over. You can call your local office and get all the info and required paperwork mailed to you.
Both
It depends on your current age, years of service, and earnings history. You need an appointment with the RRB and get an exact amount to be clear. Are you looking to go out on disability, or take another employee out on disability?
