Corporate Lowe's - every single one of them - can screw up a wet dream.
Lowe’s sells bendy boards, I have to mill them to get the size I need in a straight length.
Yes. Expect to see a slew of ‘retirements’ in the store mgr, market director, and even RVP positions over the next 4-6 weeks. In fact, it’s already starting.
Every year is a new negative "improvement" to the company with more opportunities for advancement lost and full time people who have been with Lowes for years being laid off. Why will this year be any different?
The “Walmarting” of Lowe’s will continue unabated in the new year. Expect more slashing of full-time positions as the company transforms into a super majority, part-time workforce. You folks that want insurance or other benefits are going to have to step up and be either supervisors or managers.
I do not believe they will cut sales specialist total rumor and unfounded
Sales Specialists are being cut in half in all stores. Supervisors are to act as Specialist in their departments effective January 30th.
Does the sun rise in the east?
The full time jobs are going away end of fiscal year. Have your resumes ready.
All cashiers replaced by self checkout, Loaders replaced by coin return carts, department supervisors centralized at corporate - all supervision done through Cameras and pictures uploaded by associates
Yes. Continued shifting towards third-party box truck/XDT delivery company wide along with even less payroll hours/$$ for the stores. More money spent at the corporate offices partially on never ending software changes which apparently never get beta tested before being dropped on the stores with little or no notice. More stock buybacks. More blame on the store associates when Lowe's quarterly results fall short of Home Depot's... etc.
No other than CEOs and corporate getting richer
Lowe's sells good lumber? You sure you are talking about Lowe's?
Yes you should, the plan is to get rid of more full time associates and replace them with part time.
Other than going to work and company don’t force public health precautions. Give it a month
Nope other than forcing full timers to work crazy hours and days off.
