Flagship store

Recently found out that the store manager and the ops manager quit. Something must be going on for both to leave at the same time. Went into the store, just bare shelves, thinned products stretched out. Waiting for the next round of full timers to be let go.

  1. 2 floor store. The son (RVP) of the founders of the company made that his personal store before he too was let go from the company. It was we kept, personnel were well trained, shelves were always filled and priced properly, lots of custom made items. Lately, it feels like it shouldn't exist any more when you walk around the store.

Flagships are a thing of the past but previously were stores such as Manhattan, Elmsford, 361 ( closed) West L.A., Houston, Paramus, Chicago, Westbury, Mission Valley, 33. I am sure I’m missing a few big stores but these were high grossing stores before Covid and the “ transformation.” Now everything is run like a B volume location.

I think the writing is clearly on the wall for them and many others to jump ship. Good luck to all that are still working for bbby.

Not sure either what they consider the "Flagship store". Not sure if its the Manhattan multi level store or the original fist store here in New Jersey.

By flagship store do you mean store 001? It would be a blessing of that SM left.
