Why is the stock market setting records but PepsiCo stock is falling? Why is there lack of faith in the company while there is a huge surge of confidence in the markets ? What am I missing ?

Thank you for the clarity ! all junk food and sugary drinks need to have a 35% tax imposed across the board ! then depending on the individual state, an additional tax can be imposed...like California and New York, and additional 8% can be imposed on top of the base 35%. These taxes can be used fund government programs that will educate consumers to the dangers of junk food and sugary drinks that can possibly make their wives and children big fat obese slobs with butts 3 feet wide.
Bottom line when times are tuff people with low income switch from meals to snacks. No worries !
