Is anyone not able to get through to AskHR after hours on waiting ?

I’m trying to get through on the chat to start the retirement process and have been waiting for 2 hours now. I feel bad for those HR employees dealing with that workload. It’s like they make it impossible to leave when you want to.
Try emailing the HR rep handling your RIF adventure if impacted. AskHR is hours behind in calls due to their layoffs and increased volume from how the layoffs were so messed up. They seem to respond directly. HR phone isn't even manned adequately and like will eventually be going to chat only anyways like most other parts of the company.
No. I tried for 2 days to get through a few days before the deadline for signing up for benefits. I waited all day long and never got through. This is sad.
I was on hold yesterday, waiting for my call to be answered, for an hour and 45 minutes. Then when I finally get through they were unable to answer my question about how severance repayment would work if rehired, since we have crossed tax years. Does anyone on this board have information on this topic?

I don't understand. If you were laid off, why would you be trying to get through to AskHR after hours?
