Visual never hid... they were the ones making global decisions and doing most of the MTM job (fixture placement, wall scapes, merchandising,etc). MTMs unloaded trucks and threw out goods . Its obvious now that visual is gone.

My OVM for the DOC is useless, was a AP/OP and now has the easiest job in the store all he does is shop off of the truck and pickup hangers. He got to keep the same pay and benefits for less work. But acts like it’s so terrible. He’s doesn’t do any physical work like our old doc person did before, he makes the merchandise OVM do it all then apologize they couldn’t help. they should get rid of the OVM positions. I hope M figures this out I’m exhausted!
The 2 in my store are useless. They have staff that do what they want , not what’s needed. Support staff that is global is abused to always do more while the other staff do the minimum of less. Bring back Operations for true store support and give MTM’s smaller more dedicated teams to get the goods out. Bring back visual on a smaller scale. They should not have a larger staff than receiving, when you cut 80% of receiving staff to do more with less while visual hides out.

Unlikely as they are syill advertising job openings for them in Maryland and Mass.
