Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

If they don't lay us off they will do everything to make us leave voluntarily?

Does it seem to anyone else, that the bad atmosphere in the company is being created on purpose, so that we would leave without officially getting laid off, and all in order to have no obligations to us? This “slow dismissal of workers” is more tedious and less ethical than anything.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of those who have left this company lately did so voluntarily.

I left voluntarily. Worth it. I miss my old coworkers at Xerox, but its loads better at a company who isn't in decline.

Honestly, if you deal with offshore you would feel this way
Nobody is tracking what they do, you can tell them until you are blue in the face to do something and they just ignore you and never answer
Year end was SO bad that everyone left still onshore had to step in and do all the work
I hate this F'n job, I am looking so hard to get out
I would volunteer to get laid off

If you're not selling, they don't see you. And those not working hard we'll soon be shown door. Those that are working hard non-sales shall receive more responsibility from those being cut. Don't expect any increase this year or bonus, only your executive team that slaves you out gets them.

I don’t believe so, it just seems that way because they don’t give a sh– about you and couldn’t care less if you left after they keep cutting . The firings are surgical as they cannot delete all the jobs at once in order to be able to operate. The reality is the worker is not as valuable at Xerox - you are a liability and not an asset. I realized that when I left and was treated well - what a concept!
