Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Sales always knows first

An entire sales and engineering team in Central as well as major players in the Financial district have abandoned the sinking ship and moved to direct competitors over the last month. This speaks for itself. Everyone knows that cloud strategies are like EzPass. No toll takers required. NetApps once great engineering culture has been replaced by WOKE worthlessness.

Data center exits are real and the cloud giants are in all of the Financial, Insurance, and Banking companies today. The problem isn’t really “if” they’ll move to the cloud or even “when”, but it’s a committed “how” initiative with these customers. Why? Most legacy/traditional F500’s I’ve spoken to have two problems: how do you compete with disruptors, 2/ how can I save money, 3/ how do I innovate. Scary enough, the cloud is the answer to these three things. I don’t know the sales pitches I’d the flow giants but I’m sure it’s compelling - just imagining the cost savings of not managing/owning a data center, right there, might save a company over 50-70% of annual IT spend .. that’s be huge! Given something like this, what can I possibly do to gain traction with my legacy/traditional customers other than offer discounts?

Tesla to the moon 🚀🚀🚀. Positions or fake.
This makes no sense to me from the chance(Cash)/risk ratio, in this covid situations.
You need to be crazy in this economic phase to switch the company, if you are not already layed off.
Could also an indicator that there are less layoffs, based on this headcount reduction.

Anyway thank‘s for the warning/rumor.
Tl;dr buy Apple ... lol
