My wife and my brother both lost their jobs since the pandemic started. Luckily, I still have a job so it hasn't hit us as hard, but my brother is a mess. His wife quit a while ago to stay home with the kids and now there's four of them with no income and dwindling savings. Do any of you really want to be in that position? How can you complain so much knowing that you are among the lucky ones who are still working? This place is far from perfect but it's a job. Be glad you have it.

Hope your brother and wife find new employment, being laid off now just compounds an already bad situation. That being said, companies are successful due to employees (managers are also employees unless their name is on the building). What you decry as complaining is feedback without which we would all be working 7 days a week and no benefits along side our minor children.
Being glad to have a job and complaining about all the things that are wrong with the company are not mutually exclusive.
