When I do a search for the term "Garage Model Methodology" I either get etsy garage models, or IBM sites. It seems IBM is creating a new term to sell to their clients, but I'm probably wrong.

IBM Garages have been around for a while. Total loss-leader. They don't attract and sell to the big guys- or companies use the garage architects to design solutions then implement in house or with other CSP's after IBM wastes months on empty engagements. No one here in the Valley seriously considers IBM. But hey, free architect time. Sure!
I took a class on this a while back and still didn't get it. Just looked like Agile/DevOps process re-packaging.
It's smoke and mirrors buzzwords to sell overpriced engagements with a lot of 26 year old consultants to baby boomer CEOs in the midwest and ultimately rack up expenses and produce very little meaningful output.
IBM likes to reinvent everything the real world sets and call it a new name.
"IBM Garage creates a partnership with you to quickly develop and deploy resilient solutions, grow your capabilities and drive your journey to full-scale business transformation."
If that doesn't help, congratulations, you're among everyone else that doesn't get a randy by buzzword BS and wants to know the real meaning of something IBM does.
