Well typically IBM has waited for their earnings calls, BUT this year is happening a little differently. Here's my response to another post that shares relevance here too:
Just heard the news that IBM has begun notifications for its first 2021 "RA". Major shake-up in the executive ranks, with several key departures over the last few weeks. And the once coveted and protected Client Exec role is seeing major workforce reductions along with many software specialists. Those employees with strong cloud backgrounds appear to be safe from this latest shake-up, but as NewCo and legacy IBM creates more delineation between the two expect further reductions with the term "streamlining" being prominent in any public announcement.
