So we know that there are a lot of store closures coming up in the future. Does anyone think those closures will help in keeping the company afloat? Despite everything that M has been through I still believe it’s a good company, I still believe in the brand. I understand there are those who would say otherwise and you have your opinions. I simply don’t want to see the company go under - even though it’s looking that way.

How many stores does Macy's have currently?
To survive, Macy’s would have to keep 100-150 operating stores only. Malls and department stores are dying so they need to pull the plug unfortunately. There’s no market for 600+Macy’s stores anymore. It’s too saturated.
Somebody will buy Macy's and reduce the store count.
