This company is so poor at communicating, no wonder people are looking online for answers about their job status.
I was a seasonal employee in the warehouse in Stead, NV, went in to work this morning (it’s a 5AM start time so I have to be up by 4AM to get there), try swiping my badge only to find out my last day was the 31st!
I was told 1) my last day was January 6th by my supervisor and 2) not responding to that email all employees were sent about the company being taken over by the new corporation was the same as consenting to employment with said company. I have to call HR to figure if I can go back to work the rest of the week but they aren’t even in on Sundays. What’s the point of working two more days for a measly 13$/hr? I also did not receive my outgoing information so I have no idea how my unemployment is going to work.
JCPENNEY is terribly unorganized and treats their warehouse workers poorly, to say the least. I will not miss working for this company and I wish everyone still employed by them good luck.

There is rumblings of restructuring again very soon. I wonder how many of us are going to get the shaft after sticking with the company through no raises for 2 years and working through Covid and a skeleton crew😡
All employees of Loss Prevention, including temporary, are on the superior prior-given schedule.
Wow. That’s c-appy. I’m sorry, and hope you are able to secure something else soon.
