Actually...some FRA Inspectors ride around in their own personal vehicle so make sure you know what you are talking about before making dumb comments. Lol we see them all the time

Where is the FRA? Probably in a restaurant somewhere with lunch provided by railroad management. Or maybe they are roughing it by sitting somewhere in their tax payer provided car, with the heater running while doing paperwork formalities. Certainly not making waves for railroad management in any way, shape, or form. And they are also networking to provide future cushy jobs for family and friends.

The FRA like all government regulatory agencies are merely cheerleaders for business.

The government is there to regulate the individual not corporations.

The fra is a joke. Another government agency that waste our tax dollar's.

The railroads own the fra now , railroads are doing whatever they want . The fra tipped their hand when they said they have no problem with 1 man crews . The locomotives are given a bandaid for 1 more run . It will be an interesting time when the only time a locomotive will run is when it is going down hill . After that their f——d

Fed the FRA multiple infractions by the company , at their request when our yard was idled! Not a thing was done about it and also have first hand knowledge of a high level individual who knows that a certain FRA inspector who wanted to do what was right was shutdown! 24 hour air rule passing, missing FRA inspectors, no major union attacks on carriers? All that is to be done now is to reduce employees even more until they quit, they only do minor work while contractors move in and do the preponderant amount of work, and finally the shareholders and soul selling management follow the same path as Sears, Kmart, Toys r Us, by raping every dime from the company then crying for aid from the government.

this was going on long before psr. has just gotten worse. if you think that reporting to the fra is going to solve anything, think again. they are in the companys pocket. when they show up, they will nail the car inspectors, not the company

That’s cute how you all think bad order cars and locomotives should be fixed. I’ve seen that for a long time, and it will continue to get worse. When I started the FRA would show up all the time and write multiple infractions. Management was scared to death of them. Now they hardly show up, rarely write things up, and the fear is gone. Pretty sure somewhere along the line there’s a payoff to look the other way. PSR isn’t possible without violating FRA rules. But yet every RR is doing it. Money seems like a good explanation.

The FRA only knows what you tell them. Willful violations can result in a personal fine.
