Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

Day 1 and the only good thing, where is it?

The only good thing about the merger is the LTI payout. It’s day 1 where’s the payout? Does anyone know when we get the LTI payout???

Relax, these things take time to process! Solium only made $1.1 Billion on their deal the Morgan Stanley so they probably can’t afford to hire enough staff to process the LTI efficiently...in all seriousness though, they get paid out on Jan 15th. Nothing nefarious going on here, just took a few days to process! Seriously though, R-E-L-A-X!!!! How many people do you know right now that are getting a $100k payment in January?

They get paid out via payroll and so you should see them on the January 15th pay period deposited.

Isn’t it interesting the one question every single employee wants to know about and there is absolutely no information on when these will be paid out anywhere. For a management team that says they want to be as transparent as possible it begs the question why no clarification on when the LTIs will be paid out?

Will they try and hold on to our money or maybe just on the next pay cheque. Who knows, we sure don’t!!

I was wondering the same thing. How long will they hold back the money for? In theory they all vested so the cash should be on the next pay check. But I thought there was some wording about “within a reasonable timeframe “. And myself and cenovus might have very different ideas of what that is!!
