In my store we have an outbreak with 2 people positive and at least 6 more quarantined. Why did we have we find this out through the grapevube? Shouldn't management inform us without violating privacy laws?

Its called HIPAA laws.
I wish there was more contract tracing where customers could show they got the virus from a Lowe’s store with mgmt knowing about cases in the store. And local TV,news stations covering it big time. Get some negative press is the only way for Corp to pay ANY attention. And post on CNBC, Bloomberg so shareholders know, let’s impact stock price , that will get attention.
Because they don’t care about you, and want to make sure you still come to work. Meanwhile if you spent anytime with the affected employees you could be asymtematic and infecting those you live with, interact with outside of work.
And think about how many other employees in the store that could also be positive but not tested yet, and Lowe’s won’t pay for time away til a positive test. It just NUTS hoe little they care about us or our families. PROFITS is all that matters.
$ ! That's the only thing that matters.
Because they don’t care about you. It’s not that hard to figure out.
Call your county health department asap.
Lowe's does not want the hole store off at once and so they keep it a secrete. The law suits will catch up with them when this is all over.
