As the world goes paperless, Xerox - a company whose core businesses are printing and copying - should be noted as a declining “tech” company that has not innovated or pivoted their business in any meaningful way.
These are the bad times in recent past, now, and in the future.
And no, there will not be any recovery - even when the pandemic is gone, X will not recover nor change. It will get worse.
If you are an employee - make it your 2021 resolution to leave Xerox, you will be well served.

Docuwhere? Now a ricoh company right? Ricoh has long track record of less than savvy moves... ikon? Pantax? Papercut; does Ricoh have an internal alt solution or just relabel bumble stumble install and “let me check and circle back” support. Xerox not great but “me too” ricoh no better. Get back under your busted bridge ricoh troll.
They have XWS with SSO, no wait a minute.. Papercut has that but better. They have Docushare, no wait a minute, Docuware tops that. Back to making CRUs and non Xerox toner.
Just keep offering controllers with Java applet UIs. In the year 2021(!) TeCh pOwErHoUsE DUH.
Sure they did. They acquired ACS but never merged the two companies. Then used Xerox to bail out ACS from all the lawsuits they had around their failed healthcare exchanges and red light cameras, the gave them all the same sh*tty benetits they gave us at Xerox. Then they leveraged Xerox to the hilt, gave the CEO and major shareholders big fat payouts and split the more profitable ACS off and turned it into Conduent, while they look for a s—er to buy a crippled brand that will crumble from the weight of the loans within 5 years.
