Do people really think Walmart is going to give us any kind of hazard pay any time soon? Especially now that the majority of other companies that were providing either hazard pay or bonuses to frontline employees have stopped doing it? Let's face it, all of it was nothing but a publicity stunt. Now even with the situation worse than ever, people are sadly used to it and are not as scared, so companies can go to business as usual. It was never about the employees in the first place...

There’s no provision in the store associate pay plan for hazard pay. They are, however, giving these special Covid payments, such as the 12/24 special payment, as a way to say “Thank You”.

No, they are to cheap and don’t value their employees. Corporate GREED. They made major profits during this time and only gave tiny bonuses to their employees.
