I see a lot of good people with such talent being miserable at their job or having an exit strategy. They all say the same things, the company is doomed, politics, we are treated as assets with no value and so on. It’s hard to watch so much potential being lost because the company doesn’t care about their employees.

A terrible place to work. A blue eyes white man club( Boys club) where women are
bullied everyday by senior managers that have the protection and support of
HR department. At first moral harassment I resigned and moved forward in
another company with a better pay and higher position. My best decision ever.
Besides my beloved team and true friends that I had there, I miss nothing
from Emerson. Do not get caught by their false promises. The company’ culture is
still of past century.
I just said bye bye and it never felt so good ;)
More layoffs just announced... Mid Jan another 100 folks... BYE BYE
Worst company I have had the displeasure of getting to know. Just facts.
Blows my mind the BS at this company.
Everyone knows there is no future here, other than this pile getting broken apart and sold off to the highest bidder.
This is an old business with a very badly broken business model and management team.
Truth is they are all just waiting it out, they know it's all going down the toilet.
Very sad and pathetic organization these days where full on apathy is the absolute norm.
It's a dark and depressing place to pretend to work these days.
It's been confirmed... More layoffs coming soon, get out while you can!
Left and never looked back - in simple terms the place is a c-ap hole!
At least you don’t have to worry about being cattle prodded by Farr and his baseball bat
My crystal ball was right. I could see it was going from bad to worse. I accepted a lower paying job with a place that has lots of work. After furloughs and wondering if you're the next to go, it probably came out a draw. I bailed out September 30th. 9 years in sales and 13 years total.
Yep! I left just recently because of the exact same thing. 10 years with a company that I once loved, now for nothing. Most people don’t quit their jobs, they quit management.
If Bob Karshnia is leaving than it's really a sad day for Emerson
Karschnia
good riddance. Just leave you losers.
i can assure you there are plenty of people on MSR who are bolting or planning to any day. not all of us buy into the "lifer" Emerson philosophy of bend over and take whatever they give you
Anyone know of any resignations today?
I got caught up in a layoff 5 years ago and am so much better off now. Should have left on my own sooner.
The people who get paid MSRs are executives who will not be able to get another job outside Emerson. Hence they have to stay at Emerson for the rest of their life. That’s why so many executives are kong serving >30 years. They cannot survive outside of Emerson.
It is truly run by id–ts, led by the biggest id–t of all, David Farr. He should go to hell for causing untold sufferings to so many employees and ex employees.
MSR paid last week so yeah. Now's the time for people to quit.
The minute I have an offer I’m getting the hell out. Too many id–ts running the show. And they run it like it’s 1990. I guess they didn’t get the memo the tech industry found new better ways of doing things.
Let’s see how many exit in the next two weeks.
