When will full timers know when they are going to be let go?

I was just fired today! Not laid off. I was told the season has been bad and they had to make cuts. I've worked here full time there for 8 years with no issues, in the past years they offered me associate manager and manager positions that I told them I didn't want the extra responsibility.
I told them make sure i get payed for the 3 weeks of vacation you still owe me. Manager says call HR vacation pay out has changed. I asked how about my benefits he says call HR your coverage has also changed. What the hell! Thats what I get for working here for 8 years I guess. Working extra hours, pushing off vacation to help the manager when employees quit with no warning, closing the store for him many times when he was tired from staying out drinking the night before, getting calls at 12am from a bar because he was too drunk to drive home, helping him with work while he slept it off in the back office- yep that's what I get.

Partially true. 200 stores are set to close forever. That includes all personnel SM, ASMs, Ops, FTs and PTs.
Mid January 15-20 stores will be notified
End of March 20-30 stores.
Roadmap has been made.
First 100 stores remodeled by 2nd qt of 2021.
There is no warning my friend. Just have a back up plan. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how good you are and how much you know. It’s all about numbers at the end of the day.
