How many times have we seen public announcements about PepsiCo Values being exemplary? Senior leaders constantly post how the companies values positions it as a world leader in employee appreciation. Announcements on the protection of rights for people of color, people with disabilities, and full acceptance and protection of s-xual orientation, to name a few. A steady stream of the compassion for Human Rights offsets swelling rumors that PepsiCo has leveraged restructuring to remove older employees from the herd. Did you also know that this company will force you to waive all Human Rights complaints as a condition of your severance? If you are independently wealthy and refuse to accept your severance then hats off to you. The greater majority of other employees terminated can be terminated at will for any reason and will only get severance if they agree to release PepsiCo from any recourse, including Human Rights violations. Sound like a company committed to protecting values?

In Europe they buy indeed the elections for Top Employer in the different countries
I can’t see how anyone is surprised by this. Pepsi can break any law and deny any right they wish during terminations. You then need to sign your life away and a gag order before they will give you a settlement. In your spare time you can read the handout on PepsiCo core values. It’s the American way.
