Update - Internal Finance departments are being told to use TCS for hiring. No full time offers, will be solely offshore contractors replacing existing workers.
Let the offshoring commence! Was pulled into an impromptu meeting last week and told that Tata was being brought in. Multiple tech jobs being shipped overseas including mine. Thanks Bernie!
Yes they are running a pilot program. I have been through this personally. It is not an organized process and has taken a toll on employees and demoted supervisors. I have been with the company almost ten years and am disappointed in the way they are handling this entire situation. Not sure how they pick and choose which stores, but out of 8 in my district, 3 have implemented these changes and it has not been the outcome they expected.
The remaining full time staff will be eliminated. DS positions cut.
