Based on today's internal call the field is not safe.
more cuts are coming as of April-May-June 2021 :(
Good luck to those let go, its hell out here trying to find employment and California EDD is a cluster fxxk
Sprint/TMO store employees are likely to keep their jobs. The real danger is the sales and management field positions for TMO and metro. Don't need them and are grossly overpaid. Big cuts coming in those...
Someone seems to know something about sprint frontline employees being laid off, oh come on please do tell since you think you know so much. You obviously don’t know anything. T-Mobile is sure wasting money on changing all sprint store signage and remodeling? Hmmm yea because that makes a whole lot of sense and then to fire them all. I guess they’re just wasting money huh! Lol in Wisconsin T-Mobile’s are becoming like bars, there’s one on every block !!!! Ahhaha
Covid might speed up the layoff timeline especially for the sprinters. I cant believe these people think they will have jobs when dust settles.
Layoffs are definitely coming after the new year. I've heard that they are changing the severance packages to where if you were tenured, you'll only receive a fraction of what was there before. I've also heard talk of layoffs in PA and KS (of course, they're gonna axe all the Sprint minions!).
From what I've heard from a couple "in-the-know" higher level supervisors, yes is the likely answer with field sales and Metro jobs most likely at risk as there's much more than they really need to make any difference with real revenue. Guess we'll have to wait until then. I have heard not until after tax season passes. April-ish likely if it happens.
