Its sad that Guy Carp was the first on the chopping block, given how much bank the org made for the comany when Oliver Wyman and Marsh Consultancy was on the bench for 60+ % of the time. But Guy Carp has had some very expensive Executives with golden oarachutes and a lot of legacy exceptions to the firm rules & mandates, of which the rest of the execs on on other divisions were very jealous of. Guy carpetner is underrepresented on the firm governance committees. So this was an opportunity for revenge by other divisions against guy carpenter and the governing boards took full advantae of.
yep. firing started in november and december in Guy Carpenter already.
Heard some rumors that Guy Carpenter and Mercer will be whacked. They're planning to cull the ranks of some AVP's, one rumor was they'd let go of H1B's? Has anyone heard similar?
