Lol that's why you are a digital Asm not a coach and get paid less. You chose to cover those other areas and as far as mentoring the Leads that's a joke.

My store went downhill when large marge the baker left.
Went downhill after Greg Foran left. His focus was decreasing freight overall, cleaner stores, and a slower rollout of e-commerce which he clashed with Marc Lore on. E-commerce/OGP should be a separate entity/warehouse from high volume stores.
Current issues: Too many programs to follow: ISA, GWP, One Best Way, OGP Metrics, Stocking time Metrics, let’s restructure positions yet again, etc. only for the market/regional to say plug it, pull associates from their areas to help out short staff areas, market having different directions then the regional and vice-a-versa, etc. Home office made these plans thinking all associates work 100% to the tee, never call-in, along with the thinking of all stores are exactly the same. Covid is the curveball. Overall, it’s constant unrealistic expectations combined with it’s never good enough no matter what. It’s a disaster for morale. Plus those with talent that have chosen to stay and build their careers over decades are being forced out. . . . .
Eliminate Digital ASM? Funny. I help run the store on top of my area and cover for Coaches on PTO. I also teach, train, mentor and motivate team leads to run the business. I pick, dispense and stage when the business needs support. Definitely not a waste of payroll.
Hi home office! Please bring back DM’s. You don’t even have to call it DM’s.
This new structure right before the holiday. Some hardworking DM's took severance. DM's was the only ones that had any kind of ownership of depts in our store. There is no ownership anywhere now and it shows. TL have no teams, coaches are hiding. Walmart in my opinion really messed this up. Even if they reversed back the dmg been done. Some good ones are gone that will be difficult to replace
The biggest problem at my Walmart is that it is a Walmart.
It's so much easier to share what aren't problems. So here goes:
- thinking
- thinking
- still thinking
- I'll get back to you later.......
There is not enough room on this site to list but I'll name a couple. The team leads selected in the frontend are clueless. The ones selected were managers pets. The freight is over whelming in the since that why would you need 15 plus trailers to store freight and it's just not layaway. You have clueless office management team that only comes out when company comes. Great work place is a dam joke. The company needs to eliminate OGP asm and TLE Asm they are a waste of payroll. The asset protection Asm sits in the office all day and the MAPM is a joke as well. Hey Home Office if your reading this Code Spark get out from behind your desk and tour your stores unannounced!!!
- Too much freight, especially features .
- Management not being able to make quick, knowledgeable decisions.
- Team Leads that are too big for their britches.
- Too many call outs.
- Not enough associates to complete the work.
- Not enough checkouts opened at certain times of the day.
