Thread regarding Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. layoffs

The decline began before the pandemic

"Even before the coronavirus came into play, (weeks before it was even heard of), the Norwegian Cruise Line began to experience a tremendous decline in new reservations. The managers and everyone else were shocked and this was unexpected. Then the virus issue came about and everything fell apart even faster, but it was already on the way out beforehand, even without the virus coming into play. "

Very good observation. It seems to me that things went downhill long before the pandemic and that we should not blame COVID for everything. Am I wrong or were there many wrong moves even before the pandemic?

You are not wrong...there were wrong moves before the pandemic. NCL was showing signs of being on the decline, before the pandemic was even heard of.
