Does anyone know of ANY career opportunities for existing employees at Hitachi Vantara?

I received a package and could not be happier. HV is the worst company I’ve ever worked for and everyone I’ve spoken with that is still with the company is miserable.
It’s like a lottery. Everyone is just laying low until the whip comes down. It’s not a matter of If, but When it comes. The leadership is the worst. No sense of direction. Nothing to look forward to. This company is doomed. I hate my job and this miserable company. Just hanging in for a package and I will be a happy person.
I agree, no one should stay except to get a paycheck. The other reason to stay is if you've been there a dozen years or more then you'll get a huge severance like I did. But here is the problem: If you're waiting for the severance then you need to be prepared for a long time off from your next gig unless you've got something lined up right after you get the severance.
If I had a choice, and I got a huge severance, I would give up the severance to have a new position at another company on my terms (shorter down time from getting paychecks). The idle time off work just about k–led me with stress. I'm personally not comfortable being idle. If you've got a spouses income you can rely on then that's different. Then you can say "eff it, I'm waiting for the godd@mn payout". It's the mental game of being unemployed and idle that was really getting to me. Just be prepared to handle it and I'm sure you can really. Everyone says they can but just wait until it happens. It'll hit you differently.
I've been there so hopefully this helps someone. I feel for you guys. I've been through it too. It s—s all the way around.....
No one should stay except for a paycheck given the economy. The concern from the Human Resources leadership, especially the executive is a joke. If I didn't know better, seems like he is being compensated to further destroy the company morale, supported by Japan.
Why would you want to stay? This company is in a nosedive. Failed HCC execs running DS, GK and BS blew up the software group, DI customers moving to Pure and others. New transformation leaders who have no experience in industry and all GK know is Cognizant (from which he was fired).
Move on. I plan to leave ASAP.
Yes if youre a (useless) manager.
No future there if you want to work hard (I mean make the difference or be motivated with nice colleagues)
It looks like sure, if you're in Hyderabad or Pune.
I’m curious to know - why?
Were you impacted this week and interested in staying? Given all the comments on here - and from being on the inside - I don’t understand why anyone would want to stay
