WFRed? Suggest that you make sure your 60 day benefit equivalent payment is paid and your COBRA is active for 90 days. Dont sign the Waiver until you make sure it is all paid. Looks like HP is shirking their legal duties for WARN. Surprise!

Yes you have rights and power. under WARN the corp has to play by the book. Do your research.
Yes, since they are using WARN, it is illegal for HP to not pay these items. It is required by law. Google it.
What do you do if your benefit isn’t paid or COBRA isn’t active? Do you really have any negotiating power in this scenario?
