Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

Employee morale has never been worse

I guess the latest layoffs are still taking their toll. Everybody I get in contact with seems down and lacks any work-related enthusiasm. I guess even with layoffs behind us, people are worried that the next one might be right around the corner. So the stress remains. And the worst thing is, I don't see things improving any time soon...

I was laid-off, at least those low morale employees have a job. For some of us does not look easy for now.

Hopefully they'll ask for volunteers. I hate it here.

I have spoken and texted with a number of people that I used to interact with on a daily basis. NOBODY is going out of their way to do anything. They have their blinders on and are doing the bare minimum and some are starting to use their sick time up knowing they may be next to get laid off. They know if they get let go they will not get paid for sick time. many projects have ground to a halt and lower level management are also on pins and needles looking for direction from above that hasn't shown up yet. Paul Reilly did this and he will reap the rewards.
