Does anyone know if there will be RIFs at the end of October? Have a few buddies in departments that have unusual departmental meetings Tuesday-Wednesday next week. Been with Marathon 5 years and last month were the first mass RIFs I have seen.

Exxon will be announcing their USA and global layoff numbers in the next week or two.
If Exxon’s layoff percentage is much higher than MPC’s 12%, then MPC will need to have another round of layoffs to stay similar on headcount basis.

Marathon legacy geniuses will continue to drive their collected assets into the ground blaming everyone but their own dysfunctional, toxic and pathetic leadership from Findlay on down. It will be so nice to watch the warm red glow of that egotistical and ignorant dumpster fire from afar.
