Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Getting a copy of your assessment?

Does anyone know if through FOIA or some other way can we get a copy of our assessment results? If a decision on my future rests on this I should see what this c-appy personality inventory says about me.

@1jff+17x05uth not everyone needed to take the assessment to stay or go, there were jobs in pay bands that were all retained and so they didn't need to take assessments, then there were pay bands in jobs that were all eliminated and that means they didn't need to take the assessment, as an example there were people who worked in IT that had the same title but some where C1 and some were C2, all the C2's were eliminated outright.

If you saw the overall reductions you would see how random it was, and all it takes is one person to sue and then Allstate will have to reveal blind the cuts were, if it turns out they weren't that opens them up to all sorts of litigation.

In one who department that I know the ones who were kept were the highest paid and in some of the highest cost of living areas in the US, they should have been gone if the company tried to keep the cheapest people.

The assessment was c-ap. I think they already decided but had that assessment to make it look like it was up in the air. More likely they looked at salary, geography, reviews etc if anything. I heard some were let go without given the assessment and others in certain areas stayed without having to take it

FOIA applies only to government-controlled documents.

Even if you bring forth a wrongful termination suit, you waived your right to subpoena the results through the arbitration agreement.

No one gets their assessment results, well, except the CEO who giggled and mentioned how surprising and fun it was to the entire company, tee hee :)
