Anyone else find it really weird that NGS Lexington KY is closing? They have two stores there and the other is an old format BBB. Why would they want to close a brand new Reno store?
I’m really questioning how they are deciding if a store is “profitable” as I see other stores that I would never think to be profitable!

The store that was renovated did not make up the money spent in the remodel in sales. The NGS format failed. Plus, they couldn’t renew their lease. The other Lexington store renewed their lease last year for 7 more years. People liked the old format better. I just thought it looked like a Homegoods. Too crowded.
This will become an online store soon. GAP going same direction.
