Considering that most of us are aware that this place is on its last legs, I'm assuming everybody is already looking for new jobs. My question is, where? I like what I do right now. Working in a bookstore was always my dream job. But I don't see any of the independent shops hiring. So where do book-lovers such as I go from here?

What's scary is that BN isnt the only company with sh!try reviews.
Just go on Indeed or Glass Door & read up on other companies that are hiring. It's difficult to find a place that has a majority of postive reviews.
Very discouraging, for sure.
I've learned by my terrible experience with this company to do extensive research on finding a new job. Check all job sites, read the employees' reviews and talk to employees if you can, you'd be amazed how honest people are! Just read the comments on this page!
People avoid any place with cyber attacks. Haha.
