Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Layoffs before or after the quarterly report?

What do you think, are they going to do layoffs ahead of the Q3 report to have something to cling to when everybody comes for them for lousy results or will they wait and do them after, give investors something to look forward to? I vote a week after, but neither option would surprise me.

Layoffs to continue. I suspect they will announce a substantial reduction during the next earnings (loss) report.

I bet everyone still makes bonuses this year though! They just keep lowering the bar and claim success! This CEO's compensation and bonuses are based on NOV doing not as c-appy as other companies in their peer groups. Amazes me the Shareholders haven't filed more lawsuits on this rating system alone! Just glad none of my money is tied up in NOV Stock. Projections for the coming years is a train wreck.

Before or After....?!?!? Layoffs have been happening Every Week since the pandemic. They are going after each facility/functional department each week. This will continue through 2021

I think after. Gotta see how markets react and respond to that.
