There is so much garbage here, posts that constantly contradict older posts. It's clear that there are a lot of trolls and vote manipulators who are taking advantage of people who just want information about the state of affairs. It's impossible to verify anything on this sh–ty site.

Do yourself a favor and talk to your coworkers, get your information from a source that's at least one step closer to being verifiable. On here, you're just being taking advantage of.

Get off of this site. It's unfortunate that we feel the need to find information here, but it's just a sad fact that it's not trustworthy. It's not worth the fear and emotion that the BS posts elicit.

Like every news you read on the internet nowadays. Just take it with a grain of salt. You'll know which one is genuine and which one is garbage by the way it was written.

Yeah. We are adults. The site is as accurate as the watercooler gossip... Not better, not worse.

At least 6 in Columbus were laid off today.

You can’t confirm or deny what is being put on this site. But I CAN confirm that what is being said in the last few hours about the layoffs are true. I myself was shocked how many were let go today. Sometimes these sites are all you have because you don’t know until it’s too late in most cases. Everyone working there is not in the know, there’s only a few.

Definitely happening today. At least 8 people in the area I work in. They were done by noon.

Layoffs have hit PW overhaul shops over the past couple of week. 400 employees let go. This was verified in a ME call in.

Agreed, but I know a few that I watched be walked out by Security with boxes. Its happening, but I believe the majority are complete. In the end we are all a clock number. Good Luck to Everyone out There, it is a heart-wrenching reality, especially being on property seeing it go down.

Just like everything on the Internet, there’s some real information, some trolling, and lots of well intentioned half truth, speculation and rumor mongering.

Correlate what you can with the information you have in real life and assign your own probabilities.

Up until today, I wasn’t able to verify any of the information here. From where I sit, I have direct confirmation of at least one real walk off today. That makes me believe the other reports today a little more. Sadly, there’s nothing I could say here that could make you believe or disbelieve what I’ve said.

To any who have been let go today who have read this far, I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I will do my best to support any I know personally who were hit, and the rest of you have my best wishes and sympathy, for whatever that’s worth. Take care, and do your best to land gracefully.

This site is better than nothing. Just like anything - there is good data here and bad data here. Up to you to aggregate it and make your own opinions.

It's unfortunate PW (and legacy UTC) is very tight lipped about this that drives this kind of need but overall I'm glad the site exists.

I can confirm two layoffs occurred today in my group (in OBG) so it's real.

yeah for weeks people have been making posts saying they just got laid off but obviously those were fake

theres a lot going on in here today though so maybe its real but still i havent heard anything from the real world so whos to say all the activity today isnt coordinated baloney by just one or maybe a few people
