Agreed that AMs don’t do anything but it’s not Channels that picks up the slack it’s the SEs.
OP, you are either a troll or you really don't understand how this industry and Cisco works. Suggest that you try to get a job in sales, if you can. Then come back and describe how the direct team, channels work. Meanwhile, I will take mustard, hold the ketchup..
I agree that 99.8% of all sales go through a channel partner, but there are few channel partners that can speak to all of Cisco products and those channel partners rely on the knowledge that the sales teams bring.
