Quarantine Pay Changed This Week?

Xerox direct mid-Atlantic....Am looking for confirmation on Xerox’s new Covid policy on being off 14 days (10 business days paid) for Covid quarantining. Apparently because some people were trying to get extra days off because they had the sniffles/headache etc and were self proclaiming they needed to be quarantined (it only takes a few dishonest people to make Xerox swing 180 degrees). The new policy now apparently is the first 5 business days you take as vacation or elect NOT to be paid (as in no vacation time left) and the second 5 days (week 2) you are out on short term disability. Any one else hear this new directive???

Unfortunately the Family cares act only covers employees that work at a place of 500 or less, anyone with more employees is supposed to be responsible and moral enough to cover there employees, which Xerox is neither. This company does not have your best interest, or any interest for that matter for you as an employee.

So much for a safe environment and taking care of your employees. Let alone the customers that I know are dealing with a possible Covid sick xerox tech

Typical xerox stupidity...if they make you take vacation or no pay you will have hundreds of people coming to work sick or even worse spreading Covid 19 to customers and whoever else they come in contact with. I heard about the change in policy but have yet to officially see it in an email
