What’s the new initiative at Cognizant by the name Merit Increase? Is that an eye wash for the non-promotees?
They also said there will be more promotions than last few years.

I got update about my SA to M promotion in the current cycle through an email this evening from my Manager, but $ value is not known yet. Maybe I need to wait for another month for this update.
Are they conducting the nominations for promotions this time or is it auto-promotion?
Any idea what the criteria is and when they will be effective from ?
